Contraste — booking experience that reflects the restaurant’s concept
Contraste is a conceptual restaurant with whimsical art & a modern & innovative tasting menu. The Milanese restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2015. They claim that human relationship, curiosity, & mystery are the ingredients to live an experience to the full. Therefore a physical menu in Contraste is not provided. They offer two dining experiences: Recreating dishes of the tradition & presenting them in disguise or creating new flavors using familiar ingredients & unusual pairings creating a conceptual experience.
The goal of this redesign was to rethink the mobile reservation experience at Contraste. Create an intriguing booking experience that highlights the mysteriousness of the restaurant, carries the team’s philosophy & communicates a menu “that doesn’t exist”
